What is the difference between comprehensive and total loss only?

Total Loss Only covers:

  • Vehicle damage due to an insured event, with a minimum loss of 75% of the car's price; or
  • Vehicle theft, if the vehicle is not founded within 60 calendar days from the date of theft.

Meanwhile, comprehensive includes Total Loss Only coverage plus partial damage due to an insured events.

You can add additional options for coverage like natural disasters, civil unrest, terrorism, and personal accidents at the time of insurance purchase.
