Mitos VS Fakta Seputar New Normal COVID-19

13 July 2020 | MyProtection News Jakarta

Jakarta, 13 Juli 2020 - MyProtection News

Hi, Sahabat MyProtection!

Bagaimana kegiatan Anda selama menjalani new normal?

Anak kecil wajib pakai masker

15 Car AC Components and Their Functions Individually!

A properly functioning car AC can provide comfort to the driver while driving, making the air cooler and improving air circulation.

To perform its function, a car's AC consists of various components that work together and support each other.

15 Car AC Components and Their Functions Individually!

To perform its job properly, the car's AC system consists of various components that work together for optimal results.

But do you know the functions of each car's AC component and what parts make up the system? Let’s take a closer look!

1. AC Compressor

The first component in a car AC system is the compressor, which pumps freon gas so it can circulate to other AC parts.

In addition, the compressor compresses the refrigerant, changing it from a gas into liquid form.

The AC compressor is divided into two sections that both work to pump refrigerant toward the condenser. The first one is the suction line (low pressure), connecting the refrigerant from the evaporator, and the discharge line (high pressure), connecting the refrigerant to the condenser.

2. Condenser

The next car's AC component is the condenser, which helps regulate the AC temperature inside the car.

The condenser works by releasing heat from the freon, which is then cooled down with the help of the cooling fan.

3. Freon

The next and most familiar component in car AC is freon, a chemical refrigerant that absorbs heat from the cabin air and releases it outside.

Because of this function, if your car's AC no longer blows cold air, one of the possible causes is low or empty freon.

4. Receiver Dryer

The receiver dryer filters dirt and moisture from the AC system. It is located between the condenser and the expansion valve.

This component helps protect the AC system from issues such as clogged expansion valves or compressor corrosion, which can reduce the overall performance of the AC.

5. Expansion Valve

The expansion valve changes liquid freon into gas through a spraying process.

This process makes the refrigerant colder before it flows into the evaporator to absorb heat and produce cool air inside the car cabin.

6. Evaporator

The evaporator plays a vital role in cooling. Its main job is to absorb heat inside the cabin and convert it into cool air.

Sometimes referred to as the AC filter, the refrigerant in the evaporator is cooled first before it flows into the cabin to provide cold air.

7. Cooling Fan

The cooling fan helps lower the condenser’s temperature by blowing air over it. This process cools the freon more effectively, making the AC system more efficient.

Without the cooling fan, the freon would not cool properly, the AC system would be less effective, and its performance could drop significantly.

8. Magnetic Clutch

The magnetic clutch in a car's AC is an electrical component that stops the freon pressure when it gets too high.

Even though the engine pulley keeps spinning, the magnetic clutch controls when the compressor turns on and off.

When the compressor is active, freon pressure rises, especially when the engine is revved.

The magnetic clutch uses magnetic force to connect or disconnect the compressor pulley and shaft, protecting the AC system from damage.

In addition to the car AC components above, there are some other important components as well, including the thermistor, high-pressure hose, low-pressure hose, blower, pressure switch, relay, and cabin filter.

How Electronic Traffic Tickets Work and Their Settlement Process!

ETLE, which stands for Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement, is an electronic ticketing system currently implemented to support road order and discipline.

With this electronic ticketing system, road safety can be maintained without the need for supervision by physical officers, thanks to rapid technological development.

How Electronic Traffic Tickets Work and Their Settlement Process!

tilang elektronik

To better understand how the system works and the mechanism behind the current electronic ticketing, check out the explanation below!

1. Violation Capture by ELTE Cameras

Generally, the ETLE system, comprising camera devices, is installed at strategic road locations, such as intersections, toll roads, and other high-traffic, high-violation-prone areas.

This system can automatically capture various types of traffic violations, such as:

  • Not wearing a seat belt.

  • Using a mobile phone while driving.

  • Running a red light.

  • Exceeding the speed limit.

  • Not wearing a helmet for motorcycle riders and passengers.

  • Violating road markings.

  • Vehicles are not using the proper license plate.

Once the camera detects a violation, the system will automatically analyze the recorded images and videos to identify the type of violation committed.

2. Vehicle Data Identification

After detecting a violation, the vehicle data will be matched with the National Police’s motor registration database.

This information typically includes the license plate number, vehicle type, and ownership details, which are then automatically verified.

If the data matches, the registered vehicle owner will receive a direct notification regarding the electronic ticket.

However, if the ownership data has not been updated and the vehicle has changed hands, the registered owner will still receive the ticket notification.

3. Issuance of Confirmation Letter

Once the driver identification process is completed, the next step is sending a ticket confirmation letter to the registered address in the system.

This confirmation letter usually includes the following information:

  • The type of violation committed.

  • The location and time of the violation.

  • Documentation evidence, such as photos or videos.

  • The fine that the vehicle owner must pay.

  • The deadline for confirming the violation.

4. Confirmation by the Vehicle Owner

After receiving the ticket letter, the vehicle owner must confirm it before the deadline either through the official ETLE website or by visiting the designated police office.

There are several options after receiving the confirmation letter:

  • Acknowledge the violation and proceed with the fine payment.

  • File an objection if the violation was not committed by providing supporting evidence at the police station.

If confirmation is not made within the specified time limit, the vehicle registration or STNK may be blocked until the ticket fine is settled.

5. Payment of Traffic Ticket Fine

The final process is paying the fine through various payment methods.

Common payment options usually include:

  • Bank transfer via BRI Virtual Account or BRIVA using the number stated in the confirmation letter.

  • E-wallet applications partnered with the government.

  • Direct payment at designated banks.

After the payment is completed, the ETLE system will update the violation status in real-time, and the vehicle owner will no longer face further penalties.

So, that’s a brief explanation of the electronic traffic ticket system, or ETLE, and its process. Always drive safely, obey the rules, and stay disciplined on the road. Hopefully, this information is useful!
