Yes, online consultations can be covered on a cashless basis as long as the member has outpatient benefit and consults with a general practitioner via LGI Telemed in the eBenefit Health app, which partners with certain online doctor providers.
The LGI Telemed facility is accessible to the members who has outpatient benefit.
Referrals from online doctors cannot be used for consultations with specialists.
Coverage is only applicable for costs related to the final diagnosis covered by the policy and does not include diagnoses that are policy exclusions.
Any treatment through online doctors outside of the providers partnered with LGI Telemed is not covered by the insurance.
