38 Provinces in Indonesia Complete with Capitals, Uniqueness, and Traditions!

Since gaining independence on August 17, 1945, the number of provinces in Indonesia has continued to grow, and up to now, it has reached 38 provinces spread from Sabang to Merauke.

In 2022, there were 4 newest provinces officially established by the government, namely Central Papua, South Papua, Highland Papua, and Southwest Papua.

These four new provinces are the result of the expansion of the previous provinces in Papua, which were ratified by the DPR or the House of Representatives through Laws:

  • Law Number 14 of 2022, which explains the formation of South Papua Province.
  • Law Number 15 of 202,2 which explains the formation of Central Papua Province.
  • Law Number 16 of 202,2 which explains the formation of Highland Papua Province.
  • Law Number 29 of 202,2 which explains the formation of Southwest Papua Province.

Each province in Indonesia has its own distinctive characteristics, ranging from ethnic groups, religion, race, language, culture, and customs that offer their own diversity.

Apakah Anda sering memulai hari tanpa sarapan terlebih dahulu? Profesor Hiroaki Oda dari Universitas Nagoya menyampaikan temuan menarik. Melewatkan sarapan dapat mengacaukan jam biologis tubuh dan meningkatkan risiko obesitas.

Percobaan dilakukan pada tikus yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok. Kelompok pertama diberikan sarapan sebelum memulai kegiatan mereka. Sedangkan grup tikus lainnya diberikan makan beberapa jam setelah hewan tersebut memulai aktivitas, sehingga menyerupai keadaan di mana manusia melewatkan sarapan.

Hasilnya, grup tikus yang melewatkan sarapan memiliki jumlah lemak tubuh yang lebih banyak dari grup tikus yang rutin makan sebelum mulai beraktivitas. Grup tikus yang tidak menikmati sarapan juga memiliki metabolism tubuh yang lebih lambat dan akhirnya mempengaruhi proses pencernaan makanan.

Oleh karena itu, bagi Anda yang sering melewatkan sarapan didorong untuk teratur makan sebelum beraktivitas. Selain Anda bisa jadi lebih bertenaga, ada segudang manfaat lainnya dari sarapan, yaitu:
